EYFS Classroom Teacher
Roselands Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and inspirational EYFS classroom teacher who is passionate about engaging learners and supporting them to achieve their best.
We are looking to appoint a full time (32.5 hours) EYFS Classroom Teacher on a permanent contract.

Roselands Primary School is part of the Riviera Education Trust which is a multi-academy trust comprising three local primary schools. We work in collaboration with Oldway Primary School and Shiphay Learning Academy in order to benefit all of the children in the Trust. Working in partnership with other schools helps to strengthen our provision and provide educational excellence so that every pupil has the best possible learning experience and is prepared for future life.
As a Reception Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for lifelong learning. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where our youngest children can explore, discover, and develop essential skills. Working collaboratively within our EYFS team, you will deliver high-quality learning experiences tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating and developmentally appropriate activities that promote holistic growth across all areas of learning;
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning community;
- Conduct ongoing observations and assessments to track children's progress and inform future planning;
- Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework effectively, ensuring that all children receive a broad and balanced curriculum;
- Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to share ideas, resources, and best practices, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement;
- Lead a subject across the school - dependent on your experience.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting;
- A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum, with a commitment to providing high-quality, child-centred education;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues;
- Creativity, flexibility, and a passion for fostering a love of learning in young children;
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
