Above you can see a picture of how our trust is organised. Each of the elements are dependent upon one another.
The Members hold trustees to account for the overall performance of the trust. They must meet annually, but our members meet three times per year.
Our Trustees set the strategic vision for the trust, and agree policy level decisions and financial decision, supported by the CEO. They are also responsible for appointing our Heads of School.
The standards in each school are monitored by our Local Standards Boards. They spend time in schools, ensuring that we are offering the best possible opportunities to our children and meeting the objectives set out in our School Development Plans.
The Trust Senior Leadership work operationally to ensure the trustees' vision is delivered across the trust. They are supported by a highly skilled group of Finance, HR, Operations and Communications teams.
School Leadership Teams drive the education standards in each school, monitoring and improving teaching, learning and curriculum experience for the children on a daily basis.
Supporting all of our teams is the work of our Training School, the Riviera Training School Alliance, which provides the latest training and support, not just to our schools, but to schools across Torbay and beyond.
