    Oldway Primary School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Family Support Worker to join our friendly, nurturing and highly skilled team.     We are seeking a candidate who:
    • Possesses the professional skills and knowledge to build strong, trusting relationships with parents, families, children, and external partners;
    • Can design and deliver tailored support packages for children and their families in various settings, including in school and at home;
    • Has experience of working with families facing challenging circumstances and has a compassionate, solution-focused approach;
    • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, resilience, and flexibility;
    • Is highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, and can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
    • Has experience working alongside external agencies to remove barriers to learning and improve attendance, engagement, and overall outcomes for pupils.

    Salary:  NJC Grade G, SCP 18. Full-time equivalent salary £32,578 per annum; actual salary £11,360–£13,632 per annum, depending on hours worked.

    Working Hours:  15 - 18 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only).
