    Shiphay Learning Academy, part of the Riviera Education Trust, is looking for a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Lunchtime Lead. This role is crucial in supporting children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety, well-being, and creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience.

    Shiphay Learning Academy is part of the Riviera Education Trust, which is a multi-academy trust comprising three local primary schools: Roselands Primary School, Shiphay Learning Academy and Oldway Primary School. We work in collaboration with Oldway Primary School and Roselands Primary School in order to benefit all the children in the Trust. Working in partnership with other schools helps to strengthen our provision and provide educational excellence so that every pupil has the best possible learning experience and is prepared for future life.

    The Lunchtime team is made up of friendly and professional individuals who work together to create a safe and enjoyable environment during lunch times.

    Key responsibilities for this role will include:
    • Actively supervising children during playtime by circulating throughout the playground;
    • Assisting and supporting children in the Dining Hall;
    • Supervising children in designated indoor areas during wet weather;
    • Attending to minor accidents and reporting any concerns or incidents to the Head.
    Position details:

    The working hours for this position are 10 hours per week (11.30 - 13.30) Monday - Friday. The starting salary is £5,554 per annum (£24,413 Full Time Equivalent), NJC Grade B, Scale Point 2.
