Trust Educational Psychologist
1 day per week - Fixed Term until August 2026
Riviera Education Trust is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced Educational Psychologist to join our dedicated and forward-thinking team. This new role will play a key part in shaping and supporting the provision for children across our three trust schools: Oldway Primary School, Roselands Primary School and Shiphay Learning Academy.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our trust as a Senior Educational Psychologist. We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and innovative professional, registered with the HCPC, who brings at least three years of experience to the role. This post will play a key part in leading and shaping the day-to-day operational management and strategic development of educational psychology across our three schools.

In this role, you will:
- Support the operational planning and delivery of educational psychology across the Trust.
- Contribute to systemic work, casework, consultation, and professional development.
- Work collaboratively with our SENDCos, Trust SEND Lead, leadership team and external agencies.
- Help drive positive change through co-production and inclusive practice.
We are looking for someone with:
- A BPS-recognised Honours Degree in Psychology and postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology.
- HCPC registration and at least 3 years' experience as a qualified Educational Psychologist.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for inclusion and a commitment to safeguarding.
This is a one-day-per-week position working across all three schools within the trust. The role is aligned to NJC Scale N (£58,967 – £62,853 FTE). The actual starting salary for this post will be £10,664 per annum, based on working one day per week for 41 weeks per year. This role is initially offered on a one-year fixed-term basis, with the potential for extension or permanency subject to review.
