As a headteacher based in Truro, it is always so exciting and rewarding to spend time working strategically with Riviera Education Trust. I have been a headteacher for 5 years, and passionate about ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive in educational settings. A child's entitlement to a curriculum which is designed well, and full of learning opportunities which are sequenced and progressive, building on year on year, is imperative to building children who are interested in the world around them and developing skills and building knowledge to take them to the future which has not yet been created!

For the last 8 years, Pippa has been the owner/manager of a local nursery in Torquay, taking it from Ofsted rated ‘Good’ to its’ current ‘Outstanding’. Education has been a leading passion for Pippa for over 30 years.
Pippa’s life work has been and continues to be centred firmly around enabling our young learners to become the very best version of themselves, to foster their deepest love of learning and to ensure that they have the highest aspirations for their future.
Pippa is also committed to teacher education and wellbeing, teachers being the most valuable resource for the highest quality of learning in schools.
I fully uphold the Trust’s pledge of "Inspiring the individuals of today for a better society tomorrow.” I am honoured to undertake the role of Trustee within the Rivera Education Trust.
